Starting with 2000 in ISIM Timisoara is working the certification body ISIM-CERT. This body is authorized by the European Welding federation (EWF) the certification body of welding structure producers. The certification has as referential EN ISO 3834, the EWF guide and the EA6/02 document.

The certification body ISIM CERT offers the following services:

• Certification of welding structure producing companies according to SR EN ISO 3834
• Certification  of environment management systems in the fabrication of welding structures according to SR EN 14001
